Madison Creswell's long shots serve as big threats for New Braunfels girls soccer
NEW BRAUNFELS — A focal point of summer training manifested itself in the biggest match of the season Tuesday night when senior midfielder Madison Creswell scored twice on shots from 30 yards in New Braunfels’ 2-0 victory over Madison in a Class 6A bi-district playoff at Unicorn Stadium. “I’ve been practicing those really long shots,” said Creswell, who is signed with St. Edward’s. “I have the foot to do it, so I know I can. … It’s the best feeling in the world, hearing the crowd and everything.
