The Like A Prayer singer is said to be performing two songs during the show, one of her hits and a new song, however, reports suggest she’s experienced some tension with Eurovision producers over the new track because of its political messages.The nation is set to host the singing competition after the country’s entry,The choice of location has caused much controversy, with calls from around the world to boycott the ceremony.
There have been calls to boycott Israel’s hosting of Eurovision due to their occupation of Palestinian territories; however, Netta and this year’s host Assi Azar have both opposed the idea of a boycott.‘I don’t want to give any room to people that want to ban something that’s all about music. Leave the politics to the politicians.
‘The only way to create peace and love is by communicating, through meeting and talking – not through banning. The people who want to celebrate hate, Eurovision is not the place for them.’
