Shannon, who shares a daughter with his ex, had been engaged to his former love interest before coming on the show and in a shock admission to viewers said he "wasn't over" her and entered the show to try and "break the toxic cycle" of going back there.
Fans were left feeling heartfelt sorry for the new bride as she spoke off-camera putting on a brave face and smiling through the pain, as she asked producers "can I cry now?" as she broke down into tears.“I was just hoping this time I could find someone that could love me but no I am not surprised, it’s s***.” as she smiles again
