Married At First Sight star Brad Skelly has opened up on his and Shona's relationship and claimed he 'wasn't in love' with his wife, explaining that he confused it with 'lust'
Married At First Sight star Bradley Skelly has spoken up about the end of his controversial relationship with Shona Manderson and admitted that he doesn't believe he was "in love" with the performing arts and yoga teacher.
As the duo couldn't find common ground and Brad insisted that nothing would ever come before the universe - including her - Shona, 31, finally said she was going to "detach herself" from their relationship going forward. "Yeah, because you haven't got a lot of external influences or guidance like you have on the outside world. Like on the outside world you have a lot of freedom and flexibility to actually find out if that's the case. You know, when in there I was really trying to make it work.
"So the way that I project certain terminology, however, is never intended that way. So for me, when I expressed that if 'I allow Shona to do this, then she will never learn'.
"In moments like these I wasn’t honest about it and tried to see the good. I’m not sharing this to add fuel to the fire but this is my story, parts of it are out there for everyone to see and I want to share what I choose to share on here both sensitively and respectfully," the reality TV star continued.
As the show's latest episode finished with a preview of Shona alone at the next dinner party, it appears that Brad could potentially have exited the show off-camera, or producers are hiding one final goodbye scene between the pair after Bradley was removed.
