It was the final commitment ceremony on Married At First Sight UK on Tuesday night, and all the couples were in tears as one bride and groom decided to leave the experiment
All the Married At First Sight couples and at least one of the experts were holding back the tears on Tuesday 5 November as fan favourite couple Kieran and Kristina both voted to leave the experiment during the final commitment ceremony. Despite having an amazing wedding that kicked off with Kieran showing his joker side by wearing a set of comedy false teeth while waiting to meet his bride, the couple’s relationship has floundered over recent weeks.
Kristina, meanwhile, gave a lovely speech about her feelings for Kieran and the experiment before saying that she, too, had decided to leave. Expert Charlene Douglas replied that she was trying not to cry as she thought so much of both of them, and it was clear that all the other couples were devastated by their decision, with Sacha and Ross, Amy and Luke, Nathan and Lacey and Polly and Adam all looking visibly upset.
Since the episode aired, Kieran has taken to Instagram to talk about his decision, and Kristina has shared his post that features a photo of the two of them laughing. He began by writing: “Is there a better wife on this series that I could have been matched with? No. Do I regret letting Kristina go? No.”He went on to say he wasn’t the right man for her and that “she deserves someone to put her on a pedestal.
