Part of the city will 'turn into Lapland' in the coming weeks
Part of Liverpool is set to be transformed into something 'magical', with families able to 'fly to the North Pole' without venturing too far from home. In the coming weeks, Otterspool Adventure will become 'Lapland', with tickets on sale now for the three-hour immersive experience. Guests will venture through 'Passport Control', a doorway said to have appeared deep in the enchanted woodlands, before being whisked to Lapland.
In the Elves' Workshop, little ones will be invited to help make some toys, before later it's time to meet Santa himself in his cosy cabin. The big man awaits by the crackling fireplace, eager to hear some Christmas wishes, and check his trusty nice list for certain names. There'll also be a skating rink, marshmallow toasting, and the 'North Pole Express Mailroom', where kids can write letters before sending them directly to Santa.
