A 'magical' tea garden tucked away near a beautiful country park has been welcoming customers for over half a century. Steeped in history and natural beauty, Eastham Village is home to idyllic cottages, independent businesses and a beautiful yew tree which is said to be over 1600 years old.

But it was back in 1972 that Pat Gibson-Saxty's parents, Searle and Dorothy, began serving the odd cup of tea outside their home to visitors when the local council decided to make the area a country park.
