The magnetic north pole has been moving closer to Siberia at a frantic pace
Researchers from the UK and Denmark say the pole is moving 37 miles a year. Associate professor Phil Livermore says they have not seen data like this before. It is caused by shifts in the core–mantle boundary under Canada and Siberia.
