BRENTWOOD — A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rattled the interior of the East Bay on Thursday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.hit at 9:29 p.m. about 6.1 miles southwest of Brentwood and at a depth of about 10.5 miles, the USGS reported.
