7 earthquake took place in Zambales province early Thursday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.Phivolcs director Teresito 'Toto' Bacolcol told The Manila Times that Intensity 3 was felt by residents in Quezon City.Tectonic in origin, the quake that was felt at 12:21 p.m. was located some 14 kilometers northeast of the town of Masinloc, Zambales, he said.He said Intensity 1 was felt in Baguio City.
Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity 3 was recorded over Infanta, Pangasinan; Lucena City, Quezon; Santa Ignacia, Tarlac; and Iba and Cabangan, Zambales while Intensity 2 in Orani, Bataan; Santol, La Union; Bamban, Tarlac City, Tarlac; and Olongapo City, Zambales.
