Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have announced the birth of their third child, a baby girl named Golden Raye. This addition to their family continues their pattern of naming children after metals, starting with their dogs Steel and Sterling. The couple also shares two-year-old son Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes II and three-year-old daughter Sterling Skye.

'I got Steel in college and named him that. Then we got another dog, and I wanted to name her Sterling because it went with Steel perfectly. But I decided to save that name for my daughter,' she explained at the time.
