The main coastal roads in Jersey will be closed to the public from Wednesday evening ahead of Storm Ciarán, the government has said., which is set to bring winds of more than 90mph .
The government advised islanders not to park in any coastal car parks and said it was working to ensure road closures and "other disruptions" would be managed "effectively".He said: "The importance message is only essential travel for all islanders, and that's often code for - 'stay at home', so that's what I urge islanders to do; stay at home, particularly on Thursday and Thursday morning.
