The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 and have been together since 2022.

Maisie has been visiting Max when she can get away from work, and added that the former The Wanted singer is feeling happier. She continued: "He seems in happier spirits. It was lovely to see him because we’re quite far away from each other, so it was lovely to see him and his family.” And while they haven't been able to spend every day together currently, Max has spoken on Instagram about the support of Maisie and her family throughout this difficult time for his health. "I’m surrounded with love and support from my wonderful partner Maisie, her family, my family and friends.. and I’m 100% in the best place," he explained earlier this month.
In the most recent update, Max detailed his operation to have a pacemaker fitted - an electronic device that helps regulate the heart's rhythm. Describing the device as the 'best Christmas present' as he hopes to be on the road to recovery, Max shared: "Say hello to my little friend! Given the last 10 days, this is the best Christmas present I could have ever wished for.
