Some big changes are coming
Improvements to Bulwell Bus Station are under way as part of a major revamp which will see the stop close for three months. Buses which normally use the station won’t have any changes to their timetables, but will use temporary stops.
The project is part of Nottingham and Derby’s Transforming Cities programme after the two city councils secured £161 million from the department for transport to invest in local transport infrastructure. The upgrades to Bulwell Bus Station are as follows:The station is expected to reopen on April 20. Temporary bus stops will be available on Main Street and Bulwell High Road.
Nottinghamshire Live spoke with passengers in Bulwell last week, with customers saying they believed the planned changes were 'much-needed'.
