The alleged stabbing death of a young worker has sparked BWS to implement changes to its stores in the Northern Territory. 7NEWS

The 20-year-old was declared dead at the McMillians Rd store, despite the efforts of emergency personnel to revive him.All Territory stores now have reduced trading hours and additional security measures have been implemented, operator Endeavour Group confirmed to 7NEWS.com.au.Credit:Endeavour Group chief executive and managing director Steve Donohue said the tragedy had affected all BWS staff across the country.

“Counselling has been made available to them and our team members, and we will look to provide further support in the coming days and weeks. A 19-year-old male has since been charged with one count each of murder and aggravated robbery over the incident, NT Police said.Credit:NT Police Assistant Commissioner Michael White said police believe the fatal stabbing was linked to another violent incident just hours before, when a worker at the Beachfront Hotel in Rapid Creek was allegedly assaulted with a bottle.
