Chelsea are leading to race to sign Spain star Dani Olmo.
On Tuesday the RB Leipzig man scored the decisive goal in Spain 's 2-1 semi-final win against France, sending his country to the final of a major tournament for the first time since 2012.to several European giants in recent years, but it now appears that Chelsea could finally bring him to the Premier League .
The journalist claims that there was always the possibility that the clause was pushed back should Spain reach the final of Euro 2024, which they have.This development gives Chelsea five extra days to activate the clause and then agree personal terms with Olmo, something that would have been difficult before Sunday's original deadline.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also believed to be interested in signing Olmo, although Liverpool are unlikely to make an offer for the Spaniard.
