BREAKING: Major emergency service response after reports of house fire - latest updates
A major emergency service response has been prompted in Oldham this evening following reports of a house fire.
Ronald Street near the town centre has been taped off, with several police cars, crews from Greater Manchester Fire Service and paramedics from NWAS all spotted at the scene. The full nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed, and it's not clear if anyone has been injured. GMFRS and GMP have been approached for more information.Pictures from the scene show a police cordon, with a number of residential properties inside. Two fire engines can be seen parked nearby and police can be seen guarding the area.
