Caleb Milligan star Will Ash has revealed the latest Emmerdale storylines with fans in for a treat
Emmerdale fans are in for some exciting weeks as star Will Ash reveals what major storylines are coming on the horizon.
Here’s what Will, 47, had to tell us about the latest goings on in the village involving Caleb, Ruby and their plots.“He is going basically to see what she wants. She’s saying she’s on her deathbed. He doesn’t know if that is true because Helen, Ruby’s mum, has been so manipulative and behaved terribly in the past, he doesn’t believe anything she’d ever say.
“I think Caleb and Ruby thought that they would get old, Helen and Ruby’s dad, they’d pass away and they’d never hear from them again. It has been around 30 years - a long time.”“It is a big shock that, as they were a formidable partnership. It always felt like Helen and the dad against Ruby and Caleb. They were really tight and it felt like they would never split up.
“The reason being so he can get these shares from Jimmy. The way Caleb rationalises it is that she’s never going to get any inheritance from this woman. This woman has treated her terribly and never given any financial support from when she’s been 17-years-old. So, I’m going to make her pay for what she has done. Also, it is going to help Caleb as well as helping Caleb and Ruby to secure their future. It is going to make them a lot of money.”“If you give me £100,000.
“You can see where that abruptness and resilience comes from with how Sharon played Helen but also you can see where the vulnerability comes from with Ruby. Scratch the surface with her and she’s actually, I think, quite brittle beneath it all by how she was treated by her family. This backstory just fills in these gaps. Why Ruby is the way she is and why Caleb is the way he is.”“I think he’s figured out that trying to get Home Farm didn’t work.
“I think it would be good because Caleb takes so many risks in business there’s going to be an opportunity to fail, or not fail, for things to come off. I think that’s quite exciting to have that jeopardy.”
