It said it was 'disappointed'
A high street shop has confirmed it will be closing its Accrington store next year. WHSmith says the decision to close their store in the Arndale Centre was taken as a result of their upcoming lease expiry.
The company says it will support staff through the transition and where possible, they will be redeployed to other stores. “We are disappointed to be losing our presence in Accrington and we would like to thank all our customers for their support and for shopping with us.
