Live updates as police seal off road
Police have cordoned off a major road into the city centre this morning . Traffic is unable to access a section of Alfreton Road, Bobbers Mill, close to McDonalds and Bobbers Mill bridge.

All traffic is turning right onto Aspley Lane, as Alfreton Road is completely blocked off, as police remain at the scene. Nottinghamshire Live understand from a reader the cordon was set up at 3am this morning and extends from Alfreton Road and stops where Alfreton Road meets Churchfield Lane.
