It's expected current customers will have their orders and gift cards honoured, however there are some conditions.

The trendy brand predominantly sold homewares, furniture and artwork online, shipping across Australia and to New Zealand, but also had a brick and mortar store in the Melbourne suburb of Prahran.Berkowitz Furniture owner Peter Berkowitz announced in a statement his family group would take over the brand.

"We are delighted to be able to continue the Fenton & Fenton story, given how much support this interior design icon has in Melbourne, and across the country," Berkowitz said. "We know what this design institution means to so many people and we are dedicated to preserving its unique, colourful identity and independence."The original founder of Fenton & Fenton, Lucy Fenton will remain as creative director.
