Sean Dyche could be given a decent transfer budget for the January window if the takeover of Everton clears,It is believed the Toffees boss is keen to add reinforcements in several positions to help stave off the threat of relegation.
The Premier League, Football Association and the Financial Conduct Authority will need to sign off on the deal before it clears. Cumulative losses over the past five years now amount to more than £430million, which is above the threshold of £105million over a three-year period.Nevertheless, with Everton set for another tough season on the pitch – further investment could be required to keep the club in the Premier League for the 2024-25 campaign.
