WhatsApp has swapped its 'typing' sign for three dancing dots indicating the other person is responding in chats.

Opinion is divided on where the notification belongs and how it should be displayed Miss How said: ‘WhatsApp now has the three dots typing thing like iMessage and I Hateeeee it!’ Sani said: ‘Now this animation is what appears when someone is typing a message, instead of “typing…” on the top.
