Malacañang Heritage Tours get DoT support
THE Department of Tourism expressed its support for the public opening of three mansions within the Malacañang complex.'The Department of Tourism welcomes and extends its full support for the Malacañang Heritage Tours, initiated by our First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. We thank our First Lady for this remarkable initiative, which provides local and foreign tourists a glimpse into our history, culture, heritage and tradition,' Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said.
It also recalls Marcos' early years, when Malacañang Palace became his home under his late father and namesake, Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.Bahay Ugnayan also highlights Marcos' presidential victory on May 9, 2022.Meanwhile, the Teus Mansion exhibits the vivid and diverse history of Philippine presidents with a vast collection of rare mementos.
