The veteran guard is entering the final season of his contract and is owed $22.5 million next season. The Trail Blazers likely want to get what they can for him now. Moving Brogdon would also help them open more opportunities for young guards Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons and Shaedon Sharpe. Henderson, the No. 2 pick from the 2023 NBA draft, just wrapped up a solid rookie season in which he averaged 14.0 points, 5.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 28.5 minutes per night.
