Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident
A murder investigation has been launched after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in Northampton last night . The incident happened at about 8.40pm, in New South Bridge Road. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Simon Barnes said: “First of all, I want to express my sincere condolences to the family of this young man.
"Whilst we do believe this incident to be a targeted attack, there will understandably be concern in the local area, and neighbourhood policing officers will be carrying out extra patrols to reassure people. Anyone with any concerns is more than welcome to approach one of these officers who will be happy to help.”
