A man has appeared in court charged with alleged public indecency after police were called to the University of Glasgow to respond to a man allegedly "performing an indecent act on himself".
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man at the premises on Hillhead Street on Sunday afternoon . “It is rare for members of staff to call the police to incidents on campus. However sometimes it is necessary to call the authorities for the safety of those in our community, or for the wellbeing of those involved in an incident.”A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a report of a man performing an indecent act on himself at a premises on Hillhead Street in Glasgow on the afternoon of Sunday, 20 October, 2024.
