A murder investigation has been launched after Bhim Kohli died in hospital following an attack in Franklin Park, Braunstone Town, Leicestershire, on Sunday evening
Bhim Kohli, 80, a local father of three and grandfather of two, tragically lost his life after being assaulted in Franklin Park in Leicestershire. Five youngsters have been apprehended by Leicestershire Police on suspicion of murder following the incident that took place at around 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 1.
The police believe he was assaulted by a group of "young people" who fled before the emergency services arrived. Mr Kohli had run a factory in Leicester but had retired many years ago. As he is mourned, his wife finds solace with their sons Baul and Varinder, and daughter Susan, reports Leicestershire Live.
She said: "Officers are continuing to work at speed to establish the details of the attack and we have made a number of arrests as we continue to understand what has happened."
