San Antonio police arrested a man accused of kidnapping a woman he was dating after she decided to end their relationship. Charles Lindgren, 41, was charged with kidnapping Tuesday. His bail has been set at $90,000. According to an arrest affidavit for Lindgren, he is accused of kidnapping a woman he had been in a relationship with after she went to his home to collect her belongings.
Two men found dead with gunshot wounds in southern Bexar County home Lindgren forced the woman into his car, and they drove to a nearby gas station, where she escaped to the restroom while Lindgren was pumping gas, according to the affidavit. The woman called police from inside the restroom, according to investigators, but was retaken by Lindgren when she believed police arrived, according to the affidavit.
