Ewan Methven, 26, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday (November 20) after his girlfriend, Phoenix Spencer-Horn, 21, was found dead at a flat in Lanarkshire on Monday.
Ewan Methven, 26, is said to have left Phoenix Spencer-Horn, 21, fatally injured in East Kilbride. She was found dead in the property on Monday but it is understood she died on Saturday .
Hundreds of tributes have been paid to Miss Spencer-Horn online. One devastated friend wrote: "Such a cruel world, a gorgeous girl inside and out."
