Lee Tipping flushed paranoid schizophrenia medication down toilet in months before killing his parents
A man accused of murdering his parents at their home in Higher Walton had stopped taking his medication to treat paranoid schizophrenia.
In a police interview, Tipping blamed his father for his mental health problems, saying: "He did everything he possibly could to destroy me, mentally and physically." Carolyn Miller, a hairdresser at C & J Hair Studio in Higher Walton described an incident where Patricia Livesey turned up for a hair appointment with her son following behind. As she entered the salon, Ms Livesey said: "I wish he would f***ing leave me alone", which Ms Miller said was out of character for the normally quiet customer who she had never heard swear.
