Allegations say he had the weapon with intent to cause people to believe that unlawful violence would be used against them
David Gordon, 57, allegedly assaulted David Finan at a flat in Sword Street, Dennistoun, on March 18, 2022.
Court papers state Gordon, from Clydebank, uttered a threatening remark to Mr Finan and presented an imitation firearm at him.This is said to have placed Mr Finan in a state of fear and alarm for his safety. Gordon faces an alternative charge that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at the same time and place.This is claimed to have placed Mr Finan, Michael Quinn and Shaneen Douglas in a state of fear and alarm of violence.
Gordon faces a separate charge of possession of a firearm or imitation firearm at the same time and place. Allegations say Gordon had the weapon with intent to cause Mr Finan, Mr Quinn and Miss Douglas to believe that unlawful violence would be used against them.A further hearing was fixed for next month by Sheriff Patrick Hughes.
