Fraser Alexander Thomson, 41, is accused of breaking into a house armed with a knife at Kellyville, in northwest Sydney, about 2.30am on Tuesday.
Police allege he threatened Lauren Salamakis, 35, and her former partner Paul Salamakis, 39, who was sleeping over at her home for her protection.Fraser Alexander Thomson's matter was heard in court but he did not turn up in person or via AVL.Mr Salamakis was left with cuts to his hands, while Thomson received lacerations on his arms.Mrs Salamakis was described by police as shaken but unharmed.
Thomson did not turn up in person and refused to appear by audio-visual link when his case was called at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday. He also would not speak to barrister Kirk Dailly, who appeared for Thomson's solicitor Richard McDonald. The 41-year-old breached an apprehended domestic violence order by attending the Kellyville home, police prosecutors told the court.Thomson was charged with a slew of offences after his discharge from hospital, including assault with intent to murder.Forensic police are currently analysing the contents of a bag that Thomson can be seen carrying to the home on CCTV.
