A man is in a serious condition after being bitten by a snake at a property in southeast Queensland. A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au the man in his 50s was bitten by a snake at a home in Moore in Queensland’s Somerset Region at about 9am on Tuesday.
The man was taken by ambulance to Kilcoy Hospital before being airlifted by a LifeFlight rescue helicopter to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition. It is not known what kind of snake bit the man. Last month, a toddler was in a serious condition in intensive care after being bitten by a deadly eastern brown snake in Emerald. A Queensland snake catcher was also rushed to hospital after being bitten by a deadly eastern brown snake last month.
