Police have released new details
A man and two women were arrested 80 miles away in Hartlepool on Sunday, March 12, in connection with the murder of Peter Wass. Mr Wass, 29, was fatally stabbed in Chapeltown on March 2.
"A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Peter Wass, 29, in the Chapeltown area of Leeds on March 2. Two females, aged 17 and 48, have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.Mr Wass, aged 29, from Roundhay, was pronounced dead at hospital after being stabbed in an incident in the street near to the junction of Hamilton Place and Hamilton Avenue in Chapeltown at about 2.30pm on March 2.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Sam Freeman said: "Peter’s family are completely devastated at his death in such sudden and violent circumstances, and we have specially trained family liaison officers supporting them as we continue to progress the investigation into his murder.
