A man and toddler are in hospital after being hit by a train.
An emergency response was called to Garrowhill station shortly before 7.30pm on Sunday after they received a report of two casualties on the tracks.While the toddler's injuries are not currently being treated as life-threatening, the man is said to be battling serious injuries.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said:"Officers were called to Garrowhill station shortly before 7.30pm on July 2 following reports of two casualties on the tracks. "Both people sustained injuries from being hit by a train. The child’s injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening, and the man remains in a serious condition.
