The body of a two-year-old girl has been found in a house in Ipswich, Suffolk.
A man and a woman, both 22, were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder after police discovered the body on Friday morning. Suffolk Police confirmed the pair are known to the victim. A cordon remains in place while investigations continue. They said: “In the early hours of this morning, officers arrested a 22-year-old man from Bedfordshire and a 22-year-old woman of no fixed abode in Bury St Edmunds on suspicion of murder.
“The pair are currently being questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, where they remain. The pair are known to the victim.”
