Solicitor says his client denies charges and there is 'a strong presumption of innocence'
A 44-year-old man allegedly exposed himself and performed a sexual act in front of a woman in a south Belfast park, a court heard today.
The father-of-five was refused bail and remanded in custody until next month. Police went to the scene after the woman reported being approached by a man in Ormeau Park shortly before 4pm. “He matched the description given by the injured party and he was intoxicated when police detained him.”“There is no relevant record for anything approaching this and a strong presumption of innocence,” he argued.
