A man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault after an egg was thrown at King Charles
A similar incident occurred in York last month when a member of the crowd threw an egg at the monarch, narrowly missing him and Queen Camilla.
Bedfordshire Police said a suspect is in custody for questioning after he was arrested in St George's Square.He later resumed shaking hands with members of the public after being moved to a different area.
