A dog walker was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Wales just two days before Christmas. Police have arrested a man in connection with the death.
A 38-year-old man named Aaron Jones was killed while walking his dog near his home in Llanpumsaint, Carmarthenshire, Wales on Monday night. He was struck by a car that fled the scene. Police launched a manhunt for the driver of a 'noticeably damaged' car and have since arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop for a collision, and failing to report a collision.
Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that the vehicle believed to be involved has been located. The road remains closed while the investigation continues. Mr. Jones' family is being supported by specialist officers and has asked for privacy during this difficult time
