A 19-year-old was arrested after police discovered a gun after storming a house in a drugs raid in Oldham on Thursday morning .
This firearm was later confirmed to be a converted Turkish-manufactured Top Venting Blank Firer , which is subject to a current national amnesty where owners must surrender them to police stations. A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing items concerned to be used in the supply of Class B drugs, possession of criminal property, and possession of imitation firearms readily convertible into a firearm. He remains in police custody for questioning.
