Man arrested after serious sex attack in early hours of morning as area cordoned off
The incident happened in Barr's Brae near John Wood Street in Port Glasgow at around 3.30am on Sunday.
Officers cordoned off the area and were standing guard next to one end of the road, near to a railway bridge in the Inverclyde town. A police car was also parked at the end of the bridge.Police have now confirmed that a man has been arrested and released, with investigations into the incident ongoing.
