Youssef’s husband, Adel Ramzy, was later interviewed by police as part of their investigation into the incident. During the interview, police became aware of photographs of the assault taken by Youssef’s juvenile son. Youssef told police that she had just gotten home from work and began cleaning when she noticed the motion light turn on in the front of her home.
