BREAKING: Man arrested as police investigate racist tweets from estate agent's account
Estate agent Andrew Bone claims his social media account was hacked after racist posts were sent from it following the Euro 2020 final
The suspect, 37, from Ashton upon Mersey, was arrested on suspicion of an offence under the Malicious Communications Act. Andrew Bone, who works for UK-based estate agent Savills, claims his account was hacked and has contacted the police.Detective Inspector Matt Gregory said: ‘The actions of a small number of people overshadowed what was a hugely unifying event for our country on Sunday evening.
