Man arrested at FA Cup final over 'offensive' shirt with 'Hillsborough Disaster reference'

The man wore a Manchester United shirt that had the number 97 on the back and the words 'Not Enough'

The Metropolitan Police Events Twitter account retweeted a picture of a man wearing a Manchester United shirt that had the number 97 on the back and the words “Not Enough”.

The man’s arrest comes after earlier this year Liverpool and Nottingham Forest called on fans to end “tragedy chanting” ahead of a Premier League match at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium. The pair called for an end to chants and online abuse about tragedies such as Hillsborough plus the Munich plane crash in 1958, in which 23 people died, including eight Man United players.
