Police were called to Great Southern Street in Moss Side at around 4am this morning, according to a local resident.
Officers were called to Great Southern Street in Moss Side at around 4am this morning Two people were found dead on a street in Manchester in the early hours of this morning, with a man arrested on suspicion of double murder. Emergency services tried to help the two people but they were pronounced dead at the scene. Photos from the scene show a cordon set up, with a forensics tent erected in the residential street.
Great Southern Street in Manchester ‘I can’t leave the house at all at the moment, I’m completely blocked off. ‘It’s terrifying – the first time I’ve seen something like this in my entire life.’ Greater Manchester Police said: ‘There is an emergency services presence on Great Southern Street in Moss Side whilst officers respond to an incident. ‘Police have attended and despite the best efforts of emergency services, two people were treated at the scene and have sadly been pronounced dead.
