Authorities said the victim was riding his bike when he was struck by a car and the driver did not stop to render aid.SAN ANTONIO — A man was arrested on Thursday in connection to a deadly hit and run crash that happened back in 2022 on the west side. Police found a man identified as Geoffrey Shafer, 38, in the street when they arrived at the location. Authorities said Shafer was riding his bike when he was struck by a car and the driver did not stop to render aid.
The woman gave the license plate number to the authorities and police were able to track down the abandoned car. Investigators also found blood inside the car. Investigators believe the damage from the windshield could have injured the driver during the crash.
