A man arrested in connection with the death of a Lawrence, Massachusetts, mother will face a judge Wednesday.

Montero was arrested for witness intimidation with a charge of misleading an investigation, but the Essex County District Attorney's Office said they're confident that charge will be upgraded to murder once a medical examiner completes the autopsy. “At this time, we have a suspect in custody on a charge of witness intimidation and misleading an investigation,” Tucker said of Montero. “When the medical examiner’s office completes their autopsy, which may occur in the next 24 to 48 hours, we expect that charge will be upgraded to murder.”
