PSNI appealing for information following arrest of man in his 50s
A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage after substantial damage was caused to a charity shop in Co Down .
The PSNI said that at approximately 4am, officers received a report that a fire had broken out in a shop in the Market Street area and also a report that a window had been smashed on a door of a second business close by.READ MORE:Man charged with assault and threats to kill after incident in Belfast A short time later, officers arrested a man aged in his 50s on suspicion of arson and criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.
