The victim remains in hospital with multiple slash wounds
A man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after another man was slashed. At around 11.50pm on Monday, August 12, officers received a report from North West Ambulance Service a 36-year-old man had been injured on Chamberlain Street in Tranmere by three men. The men were reportedly wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. The suspects then made off on foot towards Pembroke Court and Old Chester Road.
We were just standing next to the bins and we heard a woman scream - I think it was his girlfriend.' Another man, who did not want to be named, told the ECHO how he had known the victim most of his life, and had just been with him less than an hour before the attack. He said: 'I can tell you everything about the lad, he is a good lad.
